Who Can Join?
At the moment SAL Candidates must be rising 7th grade student athletes. SAL Academy will be modifying future qualification requirements due to greater needs in supporting student athletes.
SAL Academy was created with a specific goal in mind – the need to develop youth leadership. Our mission is to provide young athletes opportunities for personal growth in sports, the classroom, and most importantly in life. SAL Academy emphasizes character development while also affirming the effectiveness of life-skills training and through sports. The mentoring provided through SAL Academy helps young athletes by encouraging academic success in the classroom, demonstrating the importance of good sportsmanship, and providing leadership opportunities.
